Fountain pens

For drawing, sketching, and writing I like to use fountain pens. Most often I use Pilot MR Metropolitan and Rotring ArtPen Sketch. For writing, I often use the Lamy Safari pen. These pens offer enough quality, but you do not have to worry to really use them and take them with you at all times. Details can be found in the available reviews:

Pens are complemented with converters so they can be used with different kinds of inks, particularly with colored ones.

Among my favorite brands of inks belongs Diamine. Diamine is offering a wide range of beautiful colors. Glenn Marcus on his pages gave work to the detailed comparison of Diamine inks. Personally, I like to use Monaco Red and Amaranth colors. From the color inks, I also enjoy Lamy Turquoise. For ordinary writing and drawing, I’m using black inks like Pilot Black and Lamy Black. Server JetPens created a very detailed comparison of black inks.
